The paint and V-top code (L1UA) indicate this is a "Black Diamond Luxury Group Edition" that came out at the end of 1976. Very rare. Approx: 1600 made. I was just told that the color the car is now didn't exist and to look for this code. The Black Diamond Edition came in a metallic fire black with black or grey leather or grey cloth. The trim code on this car is D5 or DS. I can't find any info on that. I'll keep looking. Rare color combo: Brilliant metallic gray paint w/light gray interior and black vinyl 1/2 top. Factory aluminum wheels. Stored in climate controlled private collection for 7 years. Texas and Arizona low mile rust free car. 84,800 miles. Recent tires, battery. Steering box seal just replaced. Electronic ignition. Many new parts. Interior like new. No cracks in dash or steering wheel. Paint, vinyl top & chrome in excellent condition. No rust, no fading.
