1993 Honda Del SolCar runs fine; there is a slight grinding from the main bearing on the 5 speed transmission. The car operates and drives fine. She has a one of a kind look and sound a real head turner!!! The windows, lights, and radio work perfectly. The car has a bad speed sensor in the transmission i.e. the speedometer does not show the speed but the odometer is still working. ( I have an extra transmission that will come with the car that has a working speed sensor that will fix the main bearing sound the car has now). **She is RUST free** The Good:Ø This is a drive-able project car. The car has a valid title and is currently tagged and registered in Maryland.Ø One of a kind paint job, spoiler, ground effects, aftermarket front and rear bumpers.(front bumper needs stock gusset, paint is in fair to good condition, some small dents and chips, the front hood is painted in a black pasti-dip)Ø After market rims and low profile tires.Ø Brand new CD radio with MP3 / Bluetooth support.Ø New Weather Tech floor mats.Ø Short throw shifter.Ø Coilover suspension front and back.Ø Cat delete cat back custom stainless exhaust.(stock cat included)Ø New clutch and throw-out bearing.C Car comes with an aftermarket alarm system.Ø Car comes with an additional motor a VTEC B16Z6 engine torn down ready for a rebuild, and an additional working 5spd transmission, VTEC ECU, the matching wire harness, intake, exhaust manifold, new in box distributor and cap for the VTEC motor.The Bad:Ø The tranny has a bad main bearing it makes a whining / grinding noise. Like I stated I have a second transmission that comes with the car. The new clutch is already installed on the vehicle.Ø There is a random leak from the fan motor box left passenger side. Most likely needs some sealant at the base of the windshield. CRITICAL UPDATE!!!! The additional engine that comes with the car IS NOT a B16Z6 it is in fact a D16Z6 D16Z6 the motor was a salvage yard pull with the tranny they had 89K on them when pulled. The VTEC computer and wiring harness were pull from the same car so everything is there for a full swap.
