1980 BMW R-Series

Up for grabs is my beautiful 1980 BMW R100T. Clear title, matching numbers bike. I always wanted one of these and finally bought this one over the winter .I took it on a few rides, and realized that at 6'7 I am just too tall for it. I'm very sad to have to sell it but I need to so I can put the money into a hotrod that I plan on doing. It needs is brake work. I replaced a line and I couldn't get pressure back in the lever. May need a master cyl. Other than that should be good to go. I bought this motorcycle from the original owner, the mileage is accurate. Only has 30k original miles!! This was the nicest lowest mileage r100 I could find. I still have the original nj title from 1979 when it was new. This was a real 1 owner machine. The reason for the low miles is that the guy had lot of toys and only rode this from time to time. ENGINE AND FRAME VIN# 6170882 About 5 years ago he took it to a specialty bmw shop to have it re-done in the original color. They did an amazing job, pinstripes are all hand painted. At this time he had them go through the bike as well. It does have a few flaws here and there but considering its age it would be hard to find a nicer one. All the pictures were taken this week. This motorcycle starts, idles, runs, shifts the way its supposed to. Its smooth as glass and awesome on the highway. Fix the brakes and you have a really nice r100.
