NO RESERVE AUCTION!!!! Up for auction is a 1973 Honda CB500. It was a trade in last spring. We kicked the bike over and it has great compression on each cylinder and strong spark. The transmission clicks through the gears as it should. Front master cylindar and brakes work as they should. Rear drum brake and pedal works as it should. Throttle twists and carburetors respond as they should. Bike is currently not running as we do not currently have a mechanic to get it running. All switches move well. This bike probably just needs the carbs lightly cleaned (as it has been sitting for a year), a new battery, and gassed up to go. The tires appear new, although we have had the bike for almost a year now. The forks are extended and the frame has been raked to accommodate. The worst thing about the bike that we see is both side covers have had small repairs done to them. Bike appears complete. Call or email with any questions We can store the bike up to 60 days, or we can strap bike to a skid for $135 and load with fork lift for shipping. We also offer free pick up at our retail facility. We are 50 Highway Cycle, a bonded and registered bike recycler for over 14 years. We are located just east of Kansas City Missouri. We accept pay pal, printed paper with customers signatures, and plastic cards for payment. 816-405-2003Open to the public Wed-Fri 11-3, Sat 9-1 On Jun-04-16 at 09:51:35 PDT, seller added the following information: These use the same parts as the CB550 hondas, and even some of the cb750 models interchange as well. For a 500 cc bike, they can pretty much stay up with the 550 and almost the cb 750 as well. thanks for looking and good luck.
