1989 Pontiac Trans Am GTA, originally a 5.7L TPI car but was swapped for a 1989 20th Anniversary Turbo Trans Am drivetrain in 2001. When built it had a 3.42 geared 12 bolt but currently has the stock rear under it with driveshaft disconnected. When it was put together it ran 10.50 at 129mph with a little race gas and 11.20 at 120mph on just 93 octane pump fuel. Car was featured in GM High Tech Performance in 2007. It has not run or been used since 2010 and is at this point taking up space. I was hopefull to do something with the car but my interests have changed. Some of the things the car has are fully built LC2 engine, Precicion 70mm turbo, CAS front mount inter cooler, Terry Houston down pipe, TH400 with ATI converter and trans brake, amongst other things. It was used as a street and drag race car until 2010. The car was parked running and driving condition as my interests changed to LSx cars. Car was featured in GMHTP under the title Red Draggin’. Since then the Moser 12 bolt rear was removed for a different project.
