For sale is a 1999 BMW M3 convertible. The car runs strong and transmission shifts well but this is a project car so please read and look at the pictures. The car was hit in the LR quarter panel where the convertible top module is located. The rear knuckle was replaced and the car drives straight and fast. There are no check engine lights or ECU codes. The transmission feels great with solid shifts and no slipping. The motor makes no adverse noises and definitely makes power! We did install a new power steering pump and the steering still feels a little stiff at idle but is very responsive at speed. The brakes work well but could use a change. The tires are in good to very good condition. The wheels are fair to rough, no major damage just dirty and oxidized. The interior needs a good cleaning. The drivers seat has tears on the outer side bolster, probably needs replacement. The power seats work fine but a few knobs are missing on the controls. The radio works and the OBD seems to work well with no burnt pixels. The A/C is ice cold, all the windows work, heat works, and cruise works. The body is rough to fair. The damage is to the LR quarter panel as well as various rust spots around the car. The top is not working and the top button flashes when the car is turned on. We do not know the problem. Bottom line, the car can be driven while it's being restored. Amazing how nice this car drives. I am not going to sugar coat the car, but I would not hesitate to put it on the road for a long road trip. Fluids are clean, it runs at ideal operating temp, and it goes like hell!
