Exterior. The C7 platform sets a sporty tone, a Z06 bumps the hips out a little wider, but the optional Z07 with carbon fiber package creates the aggressive supercar physique. The Z06 intially rolled off the assembly line in Black, but eventually the guys at Atlanta Custom Wraps got their hands on it, and the entire car, door jams included was wrapped in eye popping Matte White. The carbon fiber package shows hints of its racing pedigree and phenomenal downforce. Other small features include the carbon fiber exposed roof, and GS Creations black out tail light kit. Behind the satin black 19/20" GM Speedline Cup wheels, reside the massive red Brembo calipers with 15.5" Carbon Ceramic Rotors. The graceful Z06 badges on the fenders round of the look. Interior: The jetblack/adrenaline red two tone interior features is featured in the 3LZ package, which consists of the Bose 10 speaker audio system, Navigation with Performance data and video recorder, red custom stitching throughout the interior and sueded microfiber wrapped upper interior package. The standard GT seats were swapped out with the optional Competition seats, and the carbon fiber package is scattered throughout the dashboard. Performance: This is where Vengeance Racing came into play and took the originally potent forged 6.2L Supercharged V8 and put a little bit more muscle into it. Starting off with their VR Stage II CNC heads, and VR Stage III Cam kit. American Racing 1 7/8" Longtube headers with 3" x-pipe replaced the exhaust pieces. Eventually the factory 1.7L supercharger was replaced with a Magnuson Racing Heartbeat 2.3L unit and the Alky Control dual nozzle methanol Injection system was added along with flex fuel sensor. The outcome is 826.01whp/753.68Tq which come close to 1000BHP. The added power can still be managed by the factory traction control system, and sound is controlled by driving mode exhaust system valves. The 7 Speed Manual with Rev Match shifts effortlessly. The car originally came with Z07 package that included the Michelin Semi-slicks, but since the original owner drove this car on the street, the tires were swapped to a more street friendly and grippy Continental Extreme Contacts. The Z06 comes with original books, 2 original keys, invoices and dynosheet from Vengeance Racing.
