Short History: I am selling this car for my father who unfortunately cannot drive it anymore. He has owned it from the start and always takes great care of everything especially his cars. This car has never seen the track, he had a Z06 for that, this has only ever been driven gently to cruise around and has had regular maintenance etc. This is a 98' Indy Pace Car Corvette Convertible that has been upgraded by corvette legend Doug Rippie (dougrippie.com). Doug put in his top kit at the time valued at $17,530 which brought the car up to 460 HP and 440 ft-lbs torque. More importantly it handles and performs beautifully due to the coilover suspension and other modifications Doug made. Though we have removed the original decals we can get more if requested, we also have the original yellow wheels. The current wheels are Fikse which were bought for $4,120.
