1982 VW Rabbit Pickup. 1.6l diesel engine with 5 speed manual transmission. The truck has almost 292k on the odometer and counting as I still drive it. It is currently insured and registered. The previous owner had the engine rebuilt at 230,000 I do not have documentation of this however. I have changed and upgraded some things on the truck as well: -Newer front brake calipers, rotors, lines, and pads -New clutch (less than 2k miles) -New clutch cable -Newer tires -New Headlights -New interior dome light -Injection pump rebuilt Jan. 2016 -Tinted windows -New Cooling hoses -New valve cover gasket -New JVC stereo w/ new speakers -VDO gauge holder/console - no gauges installed. Pretty much everything works on this truck, all lights interior and exterior work, wipers, horn, etc. **The fan motor works intermittently** There is no rhyme or reason, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. It's either the motor, or fan motor resistor. The body is extremely clean with no rust or major issues. Both doors have dimples where the door stops wore out and allowed the doors to over extend (this happened prior to me owning the truck) but it is minimal. The tailgate is primer gray currently and the bed has either a roll/spray in bed liner. Ask any questions or request more pictures if wanted. Truck runs great, I wouldn't hesitate to take it on a 1000 mile trip. I prefer not to ship the truck, however I will consider it at buyer expense. Local pick only please.
