Up for sale is my 1997 Cobra convertible. It currently has 138K miles on it and is mostly stock. I have changed the springs to Ford Racing springs, MSD ignition (installed 5/11) and a CAI. All have stickers under the hood in order to pass CA smog rules. New slotted/drilled disc brakes all around from Summit Racing installed in October 2015. New Exedy Mach 400 stage 2 clutch from American Muscle installed in October 2015. New windshield in April 2016. Stereo upgraded to a Kenwood HD radio and CD but I still have the original radio and CD unit plus the original style headlights if you want them. Exhaust sounds great and the convertible top doesn’t have any tears in it and works great. There are a couple of small dents/scratches that go along with a 19 year old car that has most of its original sheet metal still intact. I know that because of the VIN stickers on most of the panels. Looks like the driver’s door and front left fender were replaced before I bought her in March 2011. I’m selling because my knees are getting too old to have a manual transmission as my primary car, so I’m having to get an automatic. They just aren’t as much fun to drive. I wouldn’t be afraid to drive this anywhere as the engine is strong and the transmission is smooth. You will not be disappointed.
