2001 Grand Caravan Sport, Maroon color This vehicle is in The Villages, Florida. Good for parts, or a cheap 'fix-er-up-er' NEEDS WORK When a belt (or something related) started making horrible noises last week, it was the last straw, and I bought another van. This 2001 Grand Caravan Sport needs, at a minimum, a new belt of some kind. There are (2) warning lights on my dash: The engine light(I know what that one is (unless there's a bonus)), and the battery light (started when a belt or tensioner failed) Otherwise, this car has been well maintained. I bought it used in about (+/-) 2007 to replace a stolen 2001 Dodge Grand Caravan Sport. The body has a ding or two, but no obvious damage. The paint could be in better shape, but what do you want in a 15 y.o. car? It looks great from across the parking lot. The A/C "sorta" works, but the front blower motor does not. I have been told what needs to be done to rewire it, just never did. (This is Florida, please make sure you know that the A/C on this car is not adequate as is. Should be easy to fix if you can do wiring/soldering/insulating. The rear blower does blow cold air, but it is not enough to keep the whole cab cool.) I am selling this "as is". Please see pictures... The brakes are in good shape, but it has been recommended that a rear caliper be replaced. All heater/radiator hoses (except the one by the water pump) were replaced within the last 3 months The battery was replaced within the last 6 months About 15 gal. gas in the tank. This van has a trailer hitch! The headliner is falling, held up by pins in places. Needs a few more pins The carpet has some stains. (whoever owned this before me surely had kids) One rear seatbelt bracket is not attached (see pics) The seats, especially the rear (4) are all in pretty good shape (good for parts?), but the carpet is not. Please see pics. The tires are in good shape. Just rotated*, and they should go another 30k. *After the recent tire rotation, the van pulls slightly to one side. Switching the front tires over should fix it (sounds screwy, but I've seen this on both of the 2001 grand caravans that I've owned, this one included) The power unlock for the driver's side cargo door does not unlock that one door about 1 in 20 times. Easy enough to open the driver's door and reach around to unlock it. *FREE TRAILER HITCH - (1 1/4" receiver) and wiring*
