Vehicle Detail
1997 Ford E350 7.3 turbo diesel quiglys 4x4 $.99 start bid & NO RESERVE! 1997 Ford E350 7.3 Powerstroke with turbo. Quiglys 4wd. Miller McCoy Ambulace package. Just to have the quiglys 4x4 package installed is over $13,000. Van has 196,000 miles. It runs and drives great. Motor is strong, transmission shifts smoothly, and the quiglys 4x4 works great. I would not hesitate to tour the country in this van. Probably maintained this van will reach over 500,000 miles easily.I purchased the van at the beginning of last year. Before I purchased the van, it was in service as the Tucker country E.M.S ambulance. The van was rigorously maintained and serviced. I also stick to a service/ maintenance schedule on all our vehicles. I purchased the van to use for my carpentry business. I have not had any issues with this vehicle. I put 10,000 miles on the van this year. It currently has 196,000 miles. Inside the van:I replaced the box seats with a 4 passenger bucket seat bench. I also removed half of the divider wall and the cabinet that was behind the front passenger seat. The van seats 7 now. The 4x4 selector lever is located next to the drivers seat. It has power windows and locks. 1200w inverter. Cruise & tilt. On driver seat there is a hard shut off switch and hour meter. The switch lets you kill power to the entire van while parked. This prevents the possibility of leaving something on and killing the battery's . Heat & AC. The heat and AC for the rear is it own self contained unit. It will burn or freeze you out of the van if you want. It does not use the controls in the cab. It's controls are located next to the attendant seat in the back. It is tied into and can be controlled by a thermostat located next to the control panel. There is a RPM & idle control box located on the Miller & McCoy control panel in the cab ( the plate covers where the siren control was located). It and the CB radio have been removed. There are a couple different lighting options in the rear. The lights work and can be used in different variations; all, some, bright, dim, etc. The cabinets are great for storage. I use them for tool storage. Under the added bench seat the flooring has a strip where the box seat was mounted and it is bare wood. I have a roll of diamond plate linoleum and transition strip to clean up the appearance. I will include them with the van. I simply never got around to installing. The van does need cleaned. Carpet is dirty, dash is all dusty, rear floor needs swept. I used the van as a work van and still occasionally do. This is the perfect van to work out of or would make a great camper conversation. Van cleans up nice! Outside; The Tucker co ems stickers have been removed. The blue cross on each side of the van were painted over. The van does have rust, as expected from an older Ohio / West Virginia van. The body has spots worse than other, the frame still looks solid. The current rust would be an easy fix prior to a paint job. Paint has nicks and scratches a but overall is in pretty good shape. All red lights were removed from the ambulance and white plexiglass plates were used in there place. The wiring and switches to the light are all still there. The white lights remaining work can are controlled from interior switches. The are very bright and great work lights. You can have left, right, or both sides on. Wheels and tires are 1 year old and have great tread. Hubs turn very easy between lock and free. Running boards are very nice getting in and out of the vans rear doors. There are two fog lights on the front bumper controlled by a switch also inside on the control panel. The van has a hitch and trailer lighting plug. This is a great van! Rather you plan to work out of it, build a camper van, or do a safari set up, this van will be awesome. The quiglys 4x4 paired with the 7.3 turbo is outstanding. I tried to list everything but if I missed anything feel free to ask any questions. Sale is AS IS, feel free to schedule a time to look at the van before the auction ends or before you bid. Any payments other than cash must be discussed and agreed upon by prior to bidding. I do not need help selling this van No warranties Van is being sold 100% as it Feel free to arrange a viewing of the van prior to end of bidding Cash only in person is preferred payment method.
