Nice original 1981 GS850 G Suzuki with 3676 original miles. Purchased from the second owner (who hardly rode it any more than the original owner!) has been kept indoors. No modifications to any system on the bike, still has original handlebars, grips, airbox, exhaust and ignition, etc. Battery was installed 2 years ago by previous owner, still works fine. It even still has the original factory mirror mounts and mirrors! Motorcycle even has the original Yokahama tires on it with 75% tread still remaining, you can even still see the yellow balance dot on the sidewalls, original factory Suzuki wheel weights still present. Starts right up on the first push of the starter button! Runs nice and quiet, no smoking or noises. Shifts through all gears smoothly. All lights,signals, etc still working properly. Original seat and seat cover, still looks very nice, underneath seat pan still looks new. No wreck damage, however the previous owner had a square pole in his garage strike the right side of fuel tank and put a dent in it. The left side of tank also has a small shallow indentation. There is no wreck or tip over damage. The tank is repairable back to original, I have checked with a couple of restoration services including one on ebay. I did purchase a new tank insignia from Suzuki and have it attached. Inside of the fuel tank looks great, no rust but has a light removable brownish fuel residue that wipes off easily, I have shown this in one of the photos. Exhaust is as close to mint as you can get on a bike this old, chrome still looks great, no dings or dents anywhere, mufflers and head pipes look fantastic. No oil or fuel leaks. Fork seals are not leaking. Still has original owners manual and factory key, also comes with a copy of the original certificate of origin and title from Suzuki! My intent with this motorcycle was to restore it back to perfection, but a trip to the dentist for my wife and myself has changed those plans.... This bike can be driven as is, or restore to original glory with a fuel tank repair, it will be a vintage bike to be proud of.
