For Sale today is my 1967 Chevelle convertible. Running and driving project car. The body has been completely stripped and is now in epoxy primer. Replaced hood with a new SS hood. This is a very solid car, with original floors. It isn't perfect but won't take much to get ready for paint. Trunk floor has been patched by previous owner, see pictures. Engine is a '71 396, it runs great. It has a factory iron holley intake, and holley carb. 4 speed transmission, isn't a muncie, but shifts and works great. Brakes have new wheel cylinders. I also installed fresh spark plugs and oil change, new fuel pump and filter. I drove this car alot last summer. You could drive this car home if you wanted, but heater core is bypassed. Rims and tires are like new. Dual exhaust with headers and flowmaster mufflers.It is a manual top, and has power steering, but needs pump brackets, and crankshaft pulley to hook it up. This is a very solid car but not perfect, I just looked it over really good today. Only spots I found are rusted body mounts in rear wheel wells, they are right behind rear tires. Also frame is in very good shape except for a couple pin holes behind driver front tire, easy fix, otherwise it looks great. Also i've been getting some questions about the engine size. Technically a 1971 is actually a 402, which is a 396 bored .030 over from the factory.
