Vehicle Detail

Here's a rare 1969 Triumph Trophy 250, a single-cylinder version of the big Triumph twins, scaled down a bit for smaller riders, beginners or anyone who wants a classic mount that scoots through the city or the hills with pep, agility and fun! These high-pipe Triumph Trophys are hard to come by and most were stripped down and ridden in the dirt, and are in poor condition today. This one was never stripped and is completely original! It has been professionally repainted in its original Candy Burgundy and silver-striped Triumph livery, with a new seat, chrome muffler and guard. It's gorgeous but it's not a show bike. The original Dunlop chrome rims show some rust and the bike shows normal light patina, other than the new or refurbished parts as mentioned. The speedometer shows just over 549 miles, which I cannot claim to be original or not. But it does work properly, as does everything else including the horn! It starts easily, runs strong, shifts great, tires are good, and it's ready to ride! Clear Wisconsin title in hand, sold as-is, located in Canoga Park, California. Please do not ask my reserve—to find out what it is, simply bid your maximum, or hit the Buy it Now to avoid losing this beautiful little classic Triumph! Thanks for looking! DaveOn Mar-14-16 at 09:57:42 PDT, seller added the following information: NOTE: Upon inspection with a flashlight, I found surface rust inside the gas tank. No rust-through or leaks, just surface. But a buyer might wish to use a quality sealant such as Caswell or POR-15 49221 ($42.51 online) to seal the inside and neutralize the rust. No damage would be done to the exterior paint of course. The bike can be used and ridden as-is without issue, but I wanted to mention this.
