1977 HONDA CB550 Classic BRATDesigned by Artist Sean Coleman, Built by 485 Customs This 1977 Honda CB550 was built and customized by Denver based artist Sean Coleman. Sean has been upgrading and customizing the bike over the last year and also using it on occasion. It has just a hair over 100 miles since completion, so it's been fully sorted out. It's the tightest riding, fastest CB550 I've ever been on. The riding position is spot on and the tune on the motor is perfect. It pulls extremely hard throughout the rev range with no flatspots or hesitation. Everything on the bike works awesome- turn signals, horn, high and low beam, taillight and brake light. The tire selection is also nice, it gives the bike a good look without riding like some of the fat balloon Firestone Deluxes, which ruin any hope of taking corners. The new Satin Black 16" Shorty Slashcut Mufflers give it a amazing deep thunderous sound that get your heart beating every time you turn the ignition.As for the design. The tank has been painted in Nardo grey, giving this bike a classic military feel to it. Also complimenting it with a original 1944 WW2 Leather Browning Ammunitions case that covers the custom fabricated lithium battery box. The custom seat has been created in vinyl to match the leather case and also treated to give it an aged patina look. The two hand stamped side plates that have been attached to the tank are a reminder that life is about being creative and to never forget that creativity is what drives us. One side with a Victor Hugo quote reading " The soul has greater need for the ideal than the real. It is by the real that we exist...
