Vehicle Detail
Are you ready for something different? Tired of all the Model A rat rods out there? This thing will turn heads faster than any exotic car. It draws a huge crowd wherever it goes. This is a fairly new build. Almost all the parts are new, even though they are painted to look old. Here are the specs: Originally started life as a 1966 Chevy pick up truck The powerplant is a freshly rebuilt Chevy 454 big block Transmission is a freshly resealed Turbo-400 Rear end is a Pontiac 12 bolt 4-Link rear suspension Coilovers in the rear Nitro-Drop gas shocks and lowering springs in the front Racing fuel cel Electric fuel pump Edelbrock 750 Edelbrock "Performer" intake Edelbrock "Performer" camshaft "Flame Thrower" electronic distributor Mr. Gasket intake scoop Zoomie-style exhaust with glasspack mufflers for baffles Disk brakes up front, drums in the rear Manual rack and pinion steering setup Hurst pistol grip shifter Painless wiring harness Seven gauge instrument panel and idiot lights Brand new water pump, alternator, starter, radiator, and all the external engine parts. 5 point racing harnesses Quick detach steering wheel Battery cut-off switch LED turn signals and brake lights New tires and wheels Everything works as it should, with the following exceptions: The interior door latches could use some adjustment. The brake proportioning valve needs adjustment, as the front brakes need more pressure. The engine is running a little rich, and probably needs the carb jets adjusted. The speedometer needs troubleshooting. All the wiring and sensors are hooked up, but it does not work properly. The car is fast, and surprisingly comfortable. It's obviously a tight fit, but the seats are extremely well-padded. Obviously, the car is extremely low. No airbags, so you will have to be careful of dips and speed bumps. It has a clean California title.
