First off, this has a Salvage title! The car was in an accident with the first owner (@2002) and the repair cost more than the cars worth, so the insurance company salvaged the title. The car was then sold and repaired. This is a Convertible Hardtop that hides away in the trunk. New updated radio (I still have the old MB radio that came with car: Will include with the purchase). Car has been kept in the garage since I have took ownership a little over a year ago. Great running car mostly driven around town. Top works, new tires, I've only logged 500 miles since I purchased the car a year ago. There is need of some maintenance but has been started and driven around the block every other day to keep everything lubricated. Have all the paperwork from our local Mercedes Benz Dealer with recommendations. Need air mass sensor to pass smog in California. Fun little car to have especially in the summer. Need to sell as I now have 5 cars. Hoping the car goes to someone that will keep it up, there's very few of these around still. Some information below on the car: SLK 230 Kompressor (2000–2004) – 2.3 L (2295 cc) 197 bhp (147 kW; 200 PS) I4 supercharged engine, 0–60 mph in 6.9 seconds, top speed of 240 km/h (148 mph). In 2001 a new AMG model was added, with a 349 hp (260 kW) supercharged version of the 3.2 L V6. This SLK 32 AMG was the most powerful R170 SLK, and was a direct rival of the BMW M Roadster and Porsche Boxster S. It was only offered with the newly engineered five-gear "SpeedShift" and boasted 35% quicker automatic shifts. All engines were hand built by AMG by an individual engineer. The SLK32 AMG's engine has two spark plugs per cylinder for maximum combustion and was fitted with an intercooled Lysholm-type twin-screw supercharger. Brakes became 13.15 in (334 mm) diameter, upgraded from the standard 11.8 in (300 mm) items. AMG production ran between Aug 2000 and March 2004.
