Vehicle Detail
95% Restored 1959 Chevrolet Biscayne The majority of this car has been restored by previous owners or myself. Its a fantastic 'driver' quality car that needs relatively little to be complete. Perfect for someone who wants to introduce their family to classic cars without having to spend $30-40-50k+ on fully restored classic. Will run down the freeway at 65mph no problem. Stops amazing for a car with manual drum brakes. Gauges work. Wipers Work, Lights work (front signals need bulbs). Roof & Trunk is Pearl White, remainder of the car has been painted Teal with a flat clear. Paint isn't perfect, hence "driver." The following items are new (i.e. 500mi or less on these parts) Tires Brakes Wheel Bearings All Front Suspension Bushings Ball Joints Rag Joint Gas Tank Seats Headliner Carpet Seat Belts Rear Air Bags Rear Shocks Door Seals Trunk Seal Lizard Skin Sound Deadening Lizard Skin Heat Barrier 235ci Straight 6 3 spd manual, Column Shift Motor runs flawless, has Dress Up parts. Additional Features: Air Ride - Dual Compressors, Electric Valves, Copper Air Lines, New Rear Bags 20" American Racing Torque Thrust "Custom Shop" wheels with Chrome Centers (rare) with a polished lip and Staggered Offset. Not in perfect condition but look fantastic on the car. Again, New Tires front and rear, less than 500 miles on them. I'm sure i'm forgetting some things. What it needs: Nothing mechanical, but is an old car. It has normal leaks and creaks. The biggest issue is the trunk floor, it has rust, needs to be replaced. The rust is contained within the actual trunk floor itself, and not in the rockers or spare tire area which makes repairs much much easier. I have a compete set of trunk pans that will go with the car, I never got around to replacing them. Floor pans have been replaced by a previous owner. Some of the interior needs to be assembled. I have a box full of interior parts, most new. Needs a alignment since front bushing replacement (30 days old, less than 50 miles). The bumpers are original and have some chrome missing/ minor rust/etc. All the trim is there. Drivers window has a crack but its flat glass, not hard to replace. I am happy to provide additional photos, videos, or arrange for a inspection, just let me know! Thanks for looking.
