Great looking '79 CBX. Not a $12000 concourse museum piece but a genuine great looking fun rider. Gets lots of looks and compliments where ever it goes. Paint is excellent and the seat is in perfect shape. Fitted with period a correct Kerker 6 into 2 exhaust. I do not have the original system. It comes with the original carbs. Bike 'stumbles' somewhat in the lower rev range, but idles fine and pulls hard, strong and smooth above 3500-4000 rpm. For smooth running all the way through the rev range it could probably use a Dyna Jet kit, but it's never been an issue for me. Tires are in great shape. It's ready for a cross country trip if that's your thing. Oil and filter changed 500 miles go. This is a well looked after, highly collectable, awesome piece of early superbike history and it wouldn't take much effort to make it a show bike. I did not clean and polish the bike prior to this listing. I keep it clean, but I'm not a 'polisher'. I have a clear (California) title in-hand in my name and the bike has current (California) registration through August 2016 . The bike does not come with a warranty neither suggested nor implied and is sold 'AS-IS'. It can be shipped anywhere, with all arrangements made by the purchaser. Please do not ask me to recommend a shipper or ask me for shipping prices. I will make myself available for a pre-arranged pick up.
