Up for auction is a 1981 Pontiac Firebird that sells UNRESERVED to the highest bidder!! Yes this car was recently listed as a Trans Am, but after further research I found it to be a Firebird. I apologize for any inconvenience it may have caused. I bought this car a little over a month ago to fix up, since then I bought a house and the car has to go. The car runs and drives out ok. It has a Chevy 350 V8 with an automatic transmission. A 10 Bolt rear end with drum brakes. I just rebuilt the top end of the engine. (new head, heads have been pressure tested, shaved .010, valve jobs, gaskets, new oil & filter, new plugs). It has uncapped headers, 5" tach, slap shifter, CD player, new front springs, new front shocks, and new sway bar bushings. The car has no rot other than on the rear bumper (see picture). It is starting to rust on the drivers side front fender and rear quarter panel. It has a cracked windshield (see picture). The paint is in fair condition with touch ups. The odometer shows 47,557 miles. I do not know if that is correct, I would say it isn't. The miles are exempt on the title. The car is in fair shape and could use some work.
