Runs and drives strong - it goes downhill from here!This car is going to the highest bidder in "As Is" condition.No Reserve!This car will not pass NY State inspection. The left front signal lens is missing/broken (signal light works) - one or two tires are weak (spare in trunk is good and holds air) - the check engine light is on due to a misfire.Car runs great but after about 8 miles when it's warmed up, there is an intermittent misfire.It comes and goes.Probably a coil pack, fuel injector or spark plug.When you give it gas it flies!I did drive the car in a snow storm (wet wires could have caused the miss - the owner used the car up to the day of sale and said it ran great).I did make it to my place without any problem or overheat.No visible leaks and looks like the timing belt was replaced according to the faded sticker on the timing case cover.Everything seems to work including windows, gauges, speedometer, odometer, heater and tranny.Body is bumped and bruised.Right front fender is in prime.Interior is very intact but dirty.This car can be a good driver if it goes to the right person who is handy. It has good potential.Drive it home - there are no guarantees, but it should get you home wherever that is.Because it will not pass NY State inspection ...New York residents are unable to bid or buy unless they are a registered car dealer, registering/re-titling the vehicle out of state or are using it for “Parts Only”. When a car is sold as “Parts Only’ or “Salvage” it must pass a NY State “Salvage Inspection”. This is done to keep rebuilt wrecks that are unsafe off the road – especially vehicles with frame damage or airbag deployment. My cars are rarely rebuildable wrecks and therefore will easily pass this strict inspection process when the problem that is advertised is corrected. There are about 10 to 15 NY State salvage inspection sites in NY State – 2 or 3 are on Long Island and there are a couple in NY City. Call me for further clarification. As a registered NY State dealer I am unable to sell a car that won’t pass inspection to a NY State resident. Anyone else can bid and buy.
