Classic pristine 1983 Land Rover Santana 109 with rebuilt 3.9L V8 engine, new R380 5-speed manual transmission, fuel system, starter, cooling system, oil filter, exhaust, rear differential. Also has a new frame-mounted tow hitch and trailer brake and light wiring, ready to tow up to 7,500 lbs. This truck was imported last year from Seville, Spain where it experienced low milage use on a farm in a dry environment. Arrived with 77,000 km on the odometer, this is the milage reflected in the ad. However, there are under 300 miles on the rebuilt engine. After importing the truck I undertook a V8 conversion in order to tow my vintage Airstream trailer - unfortunately because the transmission, fuel system, etc. etc. needed replacement as well to accommodate the V8, the total modifications ended up being a little over budget! The truck drives beautifully, a dream up to 60 mph and tops out at 80, and I hate to part with it, but my loss is your gain. This is a beautiful classic Land Rover, rust-free with fresh Grasmere Green paint, original interior with only a slight modification to accommodate the long-shaft gearstick for the new transmission.
