The car is being re listed due to buyer non payment. Do not bid unless you intend to buy. This is a very rare find, an extremely low mile unmodified, notchback. 25,422 original miles. The car was parked only a couple years after being purchased new, due to the original owner becoming ill and therefore unable to drive. The car sat in the original owners barn for nearly 25 years. Because of this, the car has 25,422 original miles. The car still runs and drives LIKE NEW because it is almost new, with the extremely low miles. Everything on this car is very tight, steering suspension, engine, transmission etc. This car has never been subjected to harsh winters or salted roads, this Mustang is Rust Free! It was stored in a dry barn. When the car was removed from the barn, the fuel tank was replaced only as a precaution, since the same fuel had sat in it for so many years, Also the lines were all flushed out. Other than the fuel tank being replaced the only other things that have been changed on the car are the tires, battery, battery cables and heater core. The rest of the car has never been modified. It even still has the original dated plug wires. The car did acquire some chips and scratches from things being moved around in the barn. However it did not sustain any body damage. Even though it does have many chips and scratches the paint itself is still in good shape, it's not peeling and still has a good shine to it. The original owner lived on a gravel road so the car received quite a few rock chips, so there has been some paint touch up done on the bottom half of the car, but only from the door moldings down. There are a couple small cigarette burns in the drivers seat from the short time with the original owner and also a couple small stains. (See pics)Other than the couple small holes in the seat the interior is in excellent shape. Nothing is badly worn or broken, the center console is in excellent shape and does still latch, along with nearly no wear on the door arm rests. There is absolutely no smoke smell inside the car, it was professionally cleaned and all traces are long gone. The last time the car was registered the Dmv accidentally recorded 1 extra digit on the mileage report so instead of 24,538 it was recorded as 245,381, which is NOT correct. It has since been corrected however both records show up on a history report. The car has only had 2 previous owners since new. All the fluids have been changed. All options on the car still work aside from the a/c, which would only need a recharge to work. I am leaving the a/c not recharged so that the new owner can make the decision if they want to recharge with R-12 or to change to R-134. Cruise, windows, door locks etc all work. Tires have roughly 70-80% tread left. This car drives amazingly well, just as it did 25 years ago. A real pleasure to drive. I believe these to be the true and actual miles on the car based on information from the previous owner, by feel of the car driving, condition and wear of the car overall and based on my knowledge and experience with cars.
