Thank you for taking a look! You are bidding on my favorite object in the world. Or at least it was until I moved to a dirt road October 2014 with my new wife. I've put about 200 miles on since but can't bring myself to ride as much knowing that I'll have to start and end every ride with miles of dirt road. The bike starts beautifully and runs great at all speeds. I am the original purchaser of this bike in August 2005. I've performed all of my own oil changes except for the first two. I generally did the oil changes in the spring except for those couple of years where I put over 2000 miles on it during the summer. I've had a number of checkouts and normal maintenance by the shop that sold it to me as suggested by the manufacturer. It got a new battery in early 2015. Item's I've added:- Manual throttle control.- Two sets of highway bars. - Quick-connect windshield. - Padded sissy bar for the passenger's seat. - Leather semi-rigid saddle bags.- Leather handlebar bag.- De-branded gas tank, de-branded fender. - LED rear tail light and signal. - Modified handlebar (higher grips, flatter curve).- 12-pin garage door opener tied to the high-beam switch (can be easily switched out with another garage door opener). Other parts you'll also get:- Original OEM lights/fixtures. - Original toolkit (See below).- 2 OEM keys.- 1 Battery Tender.- Low profile motorcycle dolly (great for moving the bike around the garage during winter). Issues:- I removed the toolkit casing due to vibration. I store the toolkit in the handlebar bag. - It might be getting close to need new tires, they hold good pressure and they have adequate tread but they are going on 11 years old with pretty normal wear. The motorcycle is sold as-is and is pick-up only. I will work with a shipping company you hire if needed.
