Vehicle Detail
For sale is my 1987 Mercedes-Benz 560SEL. The car runs and drives great. The car has a clean title and is inspected in the state of Pennsylvania. The car has brand new lower ball joints replaced, all the belts are new, brand new battery of 2-3 months, 2 brand new fuel pumps and brand new fuel filter were replaced a week ago, no oil leaks, no warning lights are displayed, hydraulic line from the reservoir was repaired without any leaks, tires are in very good condition, all the windows work, has heated front/back seats, reclining back seat with adjacent buttons, sunroof, tilting steering wheel with a button, first aid kit in the rear compartment, new CD/Bluetooth player installed with an original radio available if needed. No wires were cut but a harness used, heater works, AC works but not as cold as it could be, recently had the oil changed. Some cosmetic imperfections include a linear tear in the front passenger seat and a slit in the dashboard which are common for a car of this age, some oxidation on the rear chrome of the bumper cover, antenna does not operate with a button, linear dents in the driver's door courtesy of the snow storm and someone scratching/scraping the driver door when parked. The engine runs quietly, transmission switches without any hesitation. The doors, trunk, and the fuel door all open/close via a vacuum system which operates with a turn of the key. The rear brake pads are new and were recently replaced. The miles are exempt and the odometer does not work. This is how I've purchased this car. I've ran an auto check prior to purchasing this car and it appears that is has been tagged as a historic/classic vehicle. No accidents were found on this car. The title is clean. The wear/tear did not suggest to me that the car had much more than the 73k miles which are displayed on the odometer. I have repainted the car black myself with the original color being grey. The clear coat was fading and I did the job myself. Turned out very well. It is a great car that can be driven for MANY more years and miles and is in good running/driving state. A real flagship of its time. I am the owner and not a dealer. Pick up of the vehicle is preferred. I don't know how to deal with the shipping companies. The buyer will have to make the arrangements. Just to be certain regarding the age of the vehicle, there is no implied/provided warranty (as is). There will be no accepted returns, the buyer assumes all responsibility for the vehicle. I was as clear as I could be with my knowledge of the condition of the vehicle.
