This particularly attractive Etype is a true head turner. The classic style, gleaming paint and sparkling wire wheels show why these cars are considered a Collectors' dream. A solid and true driving car, with straight chassis and very tight fittings and great alignment. The car has not been fully restored, mainly because it has not required it! I had rust removed around the wheel wells in 2010, with proper rebuilding and repaint (photos available). I have owned the vehicle for 28 years, and have also reupholsteredthe interior, carpets, roof and tonneau cover. The car has always been mechanically pampered by classic Jag specialists. My current mechanic would buy it himself if he did not already own three others! These 6 cylinder Etypes are known for their reliability and performance. Matching numbers and all stock fittings with exception of the Ansa exhaust system and 3 su carb conversion. Tires have approximately 5000 miles of use.Purchased from a Jag dealership in 1988, I was told I would be the third owner and the car had originated in California. Appraisal available.
