Hi & Happy New Year.... This is a 71 Pontiac Fire Bird, I bought here on e-bay about 2 yrs. ago from a not so honest person. I was so disgusted with the total lies in this deal & no recourse, it has just sat there since I got it. I was told when I bought it has a 455 engine, it dose not. it has what I believe is the original 350 eng., some one installed a 4 barrel intake & a holley carb. It had a fuel leak & is not getting fuel to the carb. at this time. It dose run if you dump a little gas in the carb. It did run & shift good when i got it. I only drove it out the road a few miles. Like I said it was not what I paid for (bad buying experience for me).. I do not want that for you so, If your looking for a show car this 1 will require a total restoration. If your looking for a classic muscle car for a summer driver fixer upper this can be done with a little time & $$$. This is an a/c car, compressor is missing & I do not have it, but most of the other parts appear to be intact. It has a fiber glass formula hood, than needs some repair to the corners near the windshield & some aligning, racing seats & after market floor shiftier.The car looks mean & sounds nasty when it runs. I heard no abnormal noises or smoke from the engine, the trans. shifted thru all the gears with no slipping. I think it has the 400 trans. It looks like all the body panels have some bondo & need some spots redone. The worst of the body is the driver side trunk area where the trunk lid hinge attaches to the body is rusted out & needs new piece welded in. (not disclosed when I bought it).. I got the car from Florida & was told the body was in better condition. Do not get me wrong it is all available & repairable. It all depends on what you want. these cars are getting hard to find.
