This car is going to the FINAL BIDDER NO RESERVE. With a price tag of $15,646 this Seville was originally sold at Hubacher Cadillac in sunny Sacramento, California. This vehicle has spent its entire life in the mild climate of Northern California. The Seville's of the late 70's were very important cars of the time and lead the way for American automakers to compete with the growing European Luxury car market. The Cadillac Seville was the most expensive Cadillac of its time as well as the smallest. Considered a "Masterpiece" worldwide the Seville combined engineering superiority with an elegant appearance. The '79 Seville was favorable to the Rolls Royce and Mercedes Benz by buyers and experts alike. Needless to say the 1979 Cadillac Seville was a very special Cadillac and this particular one is a great survivor of the iconic model. Mechanically It runs and drives quite nicely, it is surprisingly powerful for a 1979 vehicle. It has recently passed the RIGOROUS CALIFORNIA smog requirements. The 3 speed Hydramatic Automatic Transmission shifts smoothly in all gears as well as reverse. The suspension is like riding on a cloud and handles pretty good for a Cadillac. The Vehicle has 54,064 actual miles on the odometer. The Body is extremely straight. I CANNOT find any signs of rust anywhere. The paint is decent and appears original there is a scratch on the passenger door and a few chips here and there expected of 37 year old paint. The vinyl top looks beautiful no rips or rust by the edges, typical for these cars. The chrome is in great condition with absolutely no pitting or chipping. The Rear bumper filler has been replaced. Some of the pictures may not show it but I repeat it is has been replaced. The Interior is in decent shape. The seats are plush but have typical wear for 37 years old. There is a small tear on the passenger seat. The Tangier carpet looks beautiful and has no tears or wear. The headliner also is in great shape and does not sag. All the lights work, Heater, Fan and defroster are functional. The Radio works but the speakers don't have a connection somewhere. All 4 power windows roll up and down with no issues. Overall this car is in fantastic shape and is a classic survivor of an iconic Cadillac. I have described the car as thorough as possible and included many pictures.
