My CX500 Turbo has been just sitting for quite a while now as my wife and I no longer ride. The CX500 Turbo is definitely my favorite bike of the 20+ I have owned. No choke to mess with, no points to adjust or replace, and no carbs to clean. This bike has been 100% reliable and there is nothing like the sudden rush of 18 PSI of boost when the turbo spools up. It tends to draw a lot of attention from other bikers. For those who don't know, the CX500 was a low production showcase of Honda's technical innovation. It's an electronic ignition, computerized fuel injected, transverse mount, water cooled, shaft driven, turbo charged, V-twin motorcycle. I believe less than 2500 made it into the US and it was only produced for one model year. It is a rider, not a show bike. There are scratches and cracks, but overall in pretty good shape for its age. It has fallen over twice, but not while riding. I have stored it indoors for as long as I have owned it, but I'm confident the previous owner(s) did not. It has been repainted and the paint job is not high quality. I have changed to a HID headlight and push to cancel turn signals, and added a HKS BOV. The bike is in excellent mechanical condition with the exception of a small oil leak I have not investigated. It has new front and rear brakes and recent fork seals. It also has new front and rear tires and a newer battery. The speed sensors have been replaced and a new water pump mechanical seal has been installed as well. I do not know if the stator is original. My feedback is 100% positive and I always do my best to disclose any issues and maintain buyer satisfaction, so bid with confidence! Please bear in mind this motorcycle is 34 years old and I have maintained it well, but it is not perfect as the description clearly states. Ask questions before bidding.
