Vehicle Detail
Chance to own an incredible, rare, low mileage 130. V8 gas motor starts with ease on the first turn and runs without issue. Everything is super solid.....doors, bulkhead, cross member and frame. Driver foot well has a small blemish but that is it. Has lots of switches for the interior lights, spot lights, radio, horn, siren, rear back up camera, navigation etc. Most of the accessories work as they should. A handful need the wiring looked at. It is all there, just needs someone smarter than me to figure it out. I have been driving it locally for a bit now and of course you get lots of questions in parking lots and people coming asking about it. This is a great truck as is or would be a great conversion to the 'normal' 130 or be made into a camper or something even better like a food or beer truck. That was the original plan until I realized I was kidding myself about having the time to complete any one of those projects, so here she is for someone else to enjoy her. VIN is SALLDHAV8FA415036 Some of the copy from the previous owners ad is below. Clear Virginia title with customs docs, service records and publications the truck has been featured in. Very cool truck. Let me know if there are any questions. Price low for a quick sale. his 1990 Land Rover Defender 127 is a rare factory-built LHD ambulance originally put into service with the Royal Air Force on March 30th, 1990. Based in Laarbruch and Gutersloh in what was then West Germany, this explains the left hand drive configuration. Auctioned off at the end of its military service in 2002 with 13k miles, it soon ended up serving as a trackside volunteer safety vehicle at racing events throughout the UK. The truck now shows 80k miles on the odometer and retains excellent aluminum bodywork and a rust-free chassis with good axles, transmission and transfer case. Like regular production model Defenders, bodywork is all-aluminum and remains in good condition. Glass is all original, and we agree with the seller in that the truck could make a fantastic go-anywhere camping rig. Note the sliding rear cab windows for good flow-through ventilation and many exterior storage compartments. Inside, the truck retains all of its original equipment including radio gear, light and siren controls, medical supply cabinets, rear bench/stretcher and more.
