Vehicle Detail
For sale is my custom Triumph Scrambler built by Richard Pollock of Mule Motorcycles in San Diego. The donor bike was a very clean 2007 Thruxton, and was converted to a Scrambler. Nothing on the bike went untouched. And you can feel confident knowing that the customization of the bike was performed by one of the best bike builders in the country, so nothing was done with a half hearted attempt. The build features are as follows: It incorporates a JVB Moto seat and rear fender combo with small side panels and front fender. High Ducati-style megaphones make for a delightful exhaust note. The front forks are from a 2012 Yamaha V-Max and at 52mm had the springs and dampening tweaked to match the bike. A 6-piston Berringer front caliper grabs a hold of a Brembo 320mm rotor. Mule Motorcycle hubs front and rear shaved off almost 20 lbs by themselves. Motor is stock, but with the pipes, small individual air cleaners and jetting makes about 70HP at the wheel. Additionally the stock foot pegs, toe shifter pad, grips, and front brake fluid reservoir have been changed out. The chain guard was drilled to allow for a license plate mount to be attached and all components were powder coated. The flawless retro metal flake paint job was done by Jamie Schmidt of Blue Moon Customs. Pictures don't do the paint justice. The bike rides and handles perfectly, and honestly sounds better than any bike I've ever heard. It's truly one of a kind. I'm sure I haven't captured everything that has been done to the bike, so let me know if you have any questions.
