I am reluctantly selling my 81 Scirocco S. This is the perfect example of a garage/ barn find. This car is wearing its original paint all over and has absolutely NO RUST or previous rust repair. This Scirocco is completely original and unmodified. Anyone would be hard pressed to find another MK1 Scirocco with such a solid and straight body. Nothing is hidden here folks. When I purchased the car it had been parked for approximately 10 years. I installed a new fuel tank, Bosch fuel pump, fuel accumulator, and stainless braided brake lines. The car now runs and drives well, but I would recommend a tune up/ timing belt change and a set of tires before calling it roadworthy. Everything on the car works. For payment, I require a $200 nonrefundable deposit within 24 hours of auction end. The balance is due within 7 days and the vehicle is to be picked up within 14 days. For payment I always prefer cash, however, I will accept money orders or a Cashiers Check from a bank that has a branch somewhat local to me (so I can cash it). I am willing to work with perspective buyers but the funds must clear before the car leaves my possession. The car comes with a clean / open Georgia title from the previous owner.
