1960 Chevrolet El Camino, 283 V8, Powerglide, Wheels appear to be vintage Fenton. Non-power steering or brakes, drum brakes. Car/Truck runs and drives. Engine/Transmission believed to be original to the car are tired, still runs a generator. I drive this car to work sometimes, around the block, and into town. I wouldn't venture farther. Car is fun, but would not drive too far from home. Does start every time and has not let me down. I bought this car 2 years ago off Craig's List in Washington State and had it shipped to the East Coast. My intention was to do a Duramax conversion with this car, but I have too many projects in front of it. I don't need to sell it and won't give it away. It can sit and wait it's turn, but I'd like someone to own it that wants it. I had to look quite a while to find one. There aren't alot of 1959 - 1960 El Caminos around. Exterior Body has a matte bc/cc paint job from the previous owner. He replaced bed side panels, the body appears to be pretty straight. The car was sold to me from across the country as "very nice rust-free" body, may need driver's/passenger side floor pans and it does. This is why I have included a comprehensive set of "UNDERCARRIAGE" pictures as well as anything I could think of totaling 100 plus at this link - 100Pictures , please review and understand what you are buying. The pictures should tell you what you need to know. I have included a set of door panels that can be used for the top rails or refurbish and a set of rear valances, but they are rough and will need alot of work. I have some information in files I will also include with the sale. Classic Industries, Eklers, Truck and Car Shop and other sites can provide most of what you might need to complete the car the way you want.
