2004 BMW R 1100S with 65,740 "touring" miles.All service completed.Stock--xtras--suburban foot peg lowering kit, new sargent seat, tank bag, ne Pirelli Angel GT tires.Good condition-ReliableOn Dec-28-15 at 14:07:43 PST, seller added the following information: The bike was purchased 8/18/03 From Main Line BMW Motorcycles in Devon, PA. The original owner was a friend and a distance-tourer. Main Line did the early service until jan. 08 and 25,628 miles--all routine maintenance. Then it was serviced by Trans-Am Cycles in Lititz, PA. The last service under his ownership was the 60,000 mile service at 59.109 miles 8/9/12. My friend had cancer and died in 2013. The bike had been sitting in the garage until I bought it from the family in the Spring of 2015. I had Trans-Am drain the old gas-put in a new battery, new oil and filter, new brake fluid. I added the Sargent seat (there is no Tail Piece). and the Suburban foot peg lower kit--which takes the pegs down and back about and inch and one half. The pegs can be returned to stock position if desired. I also added a tank bag. The tool kit is under the seat--I will add a photo- I have put on 6,800 touring miles since April 2015,the including a trip from Philadelphia to Billings MT BMW Rally-taking the scenic route-north to New England and Canada and west to MT. In August 2015 I had 66,000 service done by Montgomeryville Cycle Center, Hatfield PA. This included replacement of all fluids-new tires-Pirelli Angel GT-replaced The Ignition Sensor (the bike was slow starting-many cranks) with the replacement Ignition Sensor it starts first or second try. I am not aware that the bike has ever been in an accident. According to the records there has only been general maintenance done. There are some scrape marks on the hard bags--i will add photos--the left cylinder head has a scrape on the vertical surface-will add photo I am selling the bike because even with the foot peg lowers, it is too aggressive a riding position for my (64 yr old) hips. It rides great-looks great-ABS seems to work fine. I am not aware of any further repair work needed---It just needs to be ridden!
