Yes that is true I purchased the car from the original owner’s daughter who had the car parked in her garage and used it occasionally to warm it up. The omni was purchased new in 1987 by her father who used it daily to commute up until his passing in 1994 the wife then had the vehicle but did not use it much. I acquired the vehicle and drove it 70 miles back to my location with out skipping a beat. The exterior of this Omni is extremely clean for a 28 year old car the original paint still cleans up lovely and shines great the paint looks to be all original with no signs of paint work. The body of the car is also in very good condition with no rust and no major blemishes. This has to be one of the nicest original Omni’s up for sale. The interior is in great condition with no major rips or tears the seats are very firm and sturdy and very clean the dashboard is free of craks. The only tear inside is on the drivers carpet from the original owners heal. (pictured) 2.2L 4cyl with only 25k miles! The little mopar fires right up and sounds strong the car looks to have been well maintained and even though it was not used much it still was serviced regularly and inspected yearly. When I picked up the car I drove it home about 70 miles with speeds up to 70mph I don’t think this little guy has ever been pushed that high. I would personally feel comfortable driving her on a long trip. The automatic transmission shifts all gears nice and smooth. Factory A/C and great heat. A clean original car.
