Vehicle Detail
Relisted and just out of the shop! This is the old school Jeep Wrangler you're looking for!!! Original owner of a 1998 with just over 143,000 miles, with just over 30,000 on the current engine. Perfect for a first car for a young (or young at heart) gear head that's looking to turn a wrench from time to time in between heading to the mountains for skiing or camping. 5 speed manual with 4 cylinder 2.5L engine; the original engine was replaced at 110,601 with an factory equivalent engine (paperwork included.) It has Goodyear Wrangler 31x10.50R15 tires (including spare) and locking lugnuts. The tires are in good shape and should last for a few more years depending on how hard you use them; the spare has never been used. The rims are in good shape and the center caps are in fair shape; the spare rim does not match and is a Jeep rim (excelent condition and never used) vs the 4 after market rims. The body is in good shape with only a couple of nicks/dings over the years and little to no rust. It has been in one accident (rear ended) and the damage caused was purely cosmetic with a rear bumper that got dinged. The interior is in good shape, although it is 18 years old and as such is showing a bit of its age. The passenger and rear seats are in good shape, however the drivers seat has a rip in it on the outboard edge (see picture.) There is a detachable face AM/FM CD player installed with 2 dash mounted speakers. The soft top was replaced 5 years ago and is in very good shape and should last for years to come. The windshield is cracked on the passengers side and needs to be replaced (being a Wrangler, it'll need to be repaired pretty much every year and replaced once every 5 years or so.) The valve cover gasket and the oil pressure switch were recently replaced as well at the serpentine belt and the idler pulley. This vehicle is located in the Portland, OR area and the buyer will be responsible for picking up or shipping the vehicle. Additionally the buyer will be responsible for all applicable taxes, licensing fee, registration fees, and title transfer fees. CASH or MONEY ORDER only. Does this sound like the Wrangler for you?
