Up for bids is a low mileage Chevy C20 pick up truck. This is the Silverado edition. It's power plant is a 454 CID engine, backed up by a 400 turbo automatic transmission. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ First off, I'm selling this truck for a friend. So, from what he's told me and I've seen, I am describing this truck as best as possible. I have driven and inspected this truck. Lot's of torque and power. Great work truck for hauling or putting a camper on it. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Suspension: Is very tight. Goes down the road straight. No wondering. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Brakes: Front brakes are new. Rear brakes are at about 50%. Could use the brake system to be bled out. Stops as it should. Pedal is a little low from air in the system. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Rear end: Is a 1 ton unit (see Pics). 14 bolt and 9 leaf spring set up. Nice and quite. Don't know the gear ratio. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Engine runs as it should: starts right up. No smoke on start up or acceleration and no misfire issues. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Transmission shifts as it should. Doesn't hesitate and shifts smooth. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The good; New tires LT235/85r16 10 ply. New alternator and battery. New front brake pads. New outer side view mirrors(pics show old mirrors. I just installed new mirrors on 11/19/15). New brake master cylinder. New fuel tank solenoids. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The bad; Rear engine main seal is leaking (about a 2hr job). Passenger door automatic door lock doesn't work(needs switch). Tilt steering unit needs to be tightened up(normal on these). A/C needs to be recharged(blows cool),compressor works. Clear coat is peeling. Rust at passenger side lower cab corner. Aside from the paint all else are pretty much minor issues. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Overall this is a very solid truck. Runs strong. Just needs some TLC. Remember this is a 28 year old truck. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ I am pricing this accordingly, keeping in mind the repairs needed. It's been in storage for 3 years. Prior to being put in storage, this camper went through a reseal. So no leaks. The amenities are : Complete bathroom, Central air and heating system, Oven with 4 burner stove, and water heater. All was in working order when put in storage.
