1957 Triumph TR3 1957 Triumph small mouth TR3. -Frame off restoration completed in 1999-2000. All documents and receipts included. -Rebuilt engine with dual side draft Weber carburetors done during restoration. -Runs incredible, has a few typical small oil drips I would expect for 15 years/ 6500 miles since restoration. -Interior is in great condition, has lap seat belts installed. -Soft top in good condition with side screens. Side screens need repair/ replaced. It comes with a rear back seat kit that was never installed. -Electrical system great, everything working in good order except: Wipers not currently working. -I have the used front bumper, brackets and new overriders. -AM-FM –CD-AUX-USB stereo installed but requires a negative ground for use. I never had it done since I enjoyed listening to the motor instead. - Body and paint are in good shape. Solid California car. Hasn’t seen a buffer in 10 years. -Overall this is a great car that’s an absolute blast to drive and surprisingly quick. It shows well for a great driver and usually wins an award when I get around to taking it to a show. If anything its needs are minor. I haven’t spent much time cleaning, just driving it when I can. It has honestly been a great car. Part of the reason for selling is because I just don’t drive it enough and need to thin my collection. -I purchased this car in 2012 from a Gentleman in California who was possibly the third owner. Supposedly the car has been in California most of its life other than its trip to Wisconsin for restoration and a short stay in New Hampshire. During my ownership it has stayed in a climate controlled facility in Louisville, KY where it is titled and registered. -Inspections are encouraged and welcome at the storage facility in Louisville 40223 M-F 9-5 by appointment.
