1965 Ford Mustang Convertible, 6-Cylinder Engine, Manual Transmission. The body is in good condition. Some rust. New floor boards added. New doors. New seat covers and instrument cover. New convertible top and back window. New carpet. Engine and transmission were removed and painted before installing. The rear quarters are solid but were likely repaired at one point. I will include new rear quarters but you must install. The car has scratches and dings. The paint does shine like new. The vehicle was in the process of restoration to a driver condition vehicle. It is not a numbers matching vehicle. It now must be sold due to divorce. Remaining to be completed are window seals, radio connection, antenna replacement, windshield washer pump hookup and climate control hookup. Not a perfect car by any means but solid and looks good. The exhaust manifold and cylinder has a broken bolt and tapped hole. Does not leak. The valve cover gasket leaks. The passenger door inside door handle is not working. The passenger side window is from a coupe and does not fit properly. Must be replaced with a convertible top passenger side window. Horn is not working. New in package.Plugs, wires, rotor, cap, points and solenoid new.Water pump rebuild.Starter rebuild.Fuel pump rebuild.New rear quarter panels included.BadWindow seals need replacing.Cover for back of drivers seat needed.Drivers mirror is broken.Paint is scratched and scuffed from tarp on a windy day. Car was inside with exception for a few weeks when a storm happened.Rear quarters were patched with sheet metal before we purchased. That is the reason for having the new ones included. Looks fine as is but body lines not correct.Antenna is broken.Valve cover gasket is new but started leaking.Carb just started leaking. Runs good but needs a rebuild.Steering wheel has heat cracks in plastic. Works fine. Needs repair or replacement.Cylinder head and exhaust manifold has a broken boss. No leaks.Valve seals need replacing. Smokes a little at initial start of engine..Passenger side window is from a coupe. Needs replacing long term for proper sealing with the convertible top.Drivers door handle not working properly. Likely a linkage hook up issue. Was working prior.Tail light socket needs soldering in. I have a new replacement part and is included.Doors are aftermarket and body lines do not fit well. Chrome dash parts are pitted.Radio is included but does not work.Climate control needs hooking up.Horn not working.Bumpers rust pitted. Not horrible but not show worthy.
