Vehicle Detail

This documented ONE FAMILY CAR is a beauty. It was purchased new by my wife's father in 1966. In 1986-1987, I had it professionally restored down to the bare metal with original parts, paint, leather, and rugs. In 1997 it had a complete engine overhaul. It has run beautifully ever since. Recently, it had a tune-up,, new distributor, timing chain, and water pump. Also a new convertible top motor, gas tank, pump and line. Everything about the car is original, stock or aftermarket. Since 1998, I have driven the car sparingly just to keep it running properly, putting about 5000 miles on it .It has always been garaged, well-cared for, and never driven in the winter. The body is in very good condition.-- a few minor imperfections with some pitting in the chrome. It drives and shifts beautifully, accelerates quickly and is a great cruiser..It's like driving on your favorite living-room sofa--a fun ride and fast. This bright red land-yacht turns heads wherever it goes. A veteran car collector and expert restorer told me my Deville-Convertible is a very good #2 car (on a scale of (1 to 4, 1 being best). See for yourself. I have documentation regarding length of ownership, restoration, and repairs. I will be happy to share if you are a serious buyer. The AC is not working, nor is one rear window, the clock, and gas gauge. The radio works, needs to be hooked up to the power antenna. There is also a small crack in the front grill and a small tear and stain on the back seat leather. None of this has ever been an issue for me--otherwise it would have been repaired. If you are a serious bidder and have any questions, call Jim at 772-205-2477 (9:00 am to 4:00 pm EST),or contact me via eBay, or email me at jwstang13@gmail.com. I have done my best to describe the car's condition accurately.I have never bought or sold on eBay so I have no rating. The vehicle is being sold as is, where is, with no warranty expressed, written or implied. The vehicle is located in Vero Beach, Florida. An inspection prior to purchase is recommended. Be prepared to pay for the car in CASH or with a BANK WIRE TRANSFER (U.S. DOLLARS ONLY)) to my account within 7 days of the close of the auction. CAR WILL NOT BE RELEASED UNTIL PAID IN FULL AND PAYMENT HAS BEEN CLEARED AND APPROVED BY MY BANK. BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SHIPPING AND INSURING VEHICLE AFTER PAYMENT IS MADE.On Dec-03-15 at 05:20:33 PST, seller added the following information: This documented ONE FAMILY CAR is a beauty. In 1996-1997 it had a complete engine overhaul at a cost of $9,000.00. Everything was rebuilt or replaced (stock). Hardened exhaust valve seats were installed so my car could use unleaded gasoline (DOES NOT NEED LEAD ADDITIVES). It has run beautifully ever since.
