This beautiful 64 is Laguna blue on a navy interior with a white top that is in excellent condition. The paint has about 6 nicks but retains its shine and has good integrity. the wheels are knock off's but not Kelsey Hayes. The interior is in excellent shape with the exception of a tear in the carpet on the drivers side floor. This is an investment vehicle with matching numbers, a 327 small block all stock with the exception of a racing cam boosting the engine from the base 300 hp to about 360 hp.It is a strong running great looking driver that has integrity and could support any new restoration a new owner may decide to do if a perfect car is your wish. The car was totally repainted in the eighties by local Corvette restoration shop American Custom and the engine was rebuilt by a local master mechanic named Dick Titsworth of Seaport Automotive, highly regarded for their engine work. . The odometer has not worked since I owned it but was really a 0 mile vehicle after the engine rebuild and paint. It currently reads 44,499. I purchased the car in 1988 have driven it no more than 500 miles a summer and stored it in the winter. There is some surface rust on the frame right behind the doors in front of the wheel wells but not an issue at this point. Each side is about 2" by 3" and this is a common spot for this vintage of vette. The headlights need a new motor for up and down operation. This is a turn key driver that looks and runs great at a fraction of the price of the perfectly restored cars you will see.
