What an incredible VW time capsule~ Perfect working and running order she is ready to be picked up in Las Vegas and can be driven anywhere you want to go worry free! She is smooth and a joy to drive!***Low reserve considering this fantastic condition*** *Absolutely beautiful paint! VW color: Sea Blue The top was professionally resurfaced and shines like new also. *Was professionally protected with the Ziebart rust proofing system early on. This has got to be one of the most documented VW WESTFALIA DELUXE CAMPMOBILE ever. I have a stack of service records over a foot thick and the original OWNERS MANUAL with every single service booklet schedule stamped by VW. I will take pictures of the more important docs which include: **ATK North America Crate 1600cc Bus correct Engine, with owners manual and all documents. **If you can think of it, every mechanical detail of this lovingly cared for VW has been replaced, serviced, rebuilt, to perfect running order; including but not limited to: *Muffler *Brakes *Clutch *Brand New Tires with warranty *Wheel Cylinders *Clutch Kit, (German Sachs) *CV Boots *Complete steering system *Complete fuel system and lines *Complete drive-train * *suspension~ and everything else under the sun. German quality parts by vw or authorized used in service history by VW dealers. Dash is excellent condition as is the ceiling wood panels. This bus even has the forward cabin sleeping cot as pictured in excellent condition. The owner kept written vehicle gas and oil consumption, oil changes, since its purchase in 1968. The VW Service reports and VW Service stamps date back to its purchase in 1968 and are all there! That’s almost 50 years of records. All this and the miles are low on the bus. It runs flawlessly. Steering is perfect, no play in the wheel, no vibrations or pulling left or right~ At 65mph on the highway you can let go of the wheel and she goes straight down the road. Clutch shifts effortlessly and braking is excellent. This bus has been so well kept and documented that even the original Blaupunkt stereo works great, even the windshield wiper fluid comes out of the little nozzles when you trigger its button. You will spend hours just in amazement at the detail to the care, all documented of course, down to minute details of maintenance. Its really unheard of that a vehicle would have been maintained so meticulously. The interior has been meticulously cared for as well. All of the original cabinetry is excellent condition as are the sink, fridge etc. The pop-tent contains the sleeping cot as well. So well kept was this Westy that even the wood paneled roofing is fantastic shape. The original black netting in the rear is there and excellent. The pan is in excellent condition as expected. Any slight surface rust issues have been professionally treated and repaired. The tent canvas has some patches but you could use it for a long time. The upper sleeping cot has one small easily patchable tear in canvas. The bus has (in glove box) MP3/DVD player with 3.2” screen , wireless remote, and output plugs so you can also hook up your own TV and watch movies while your camping~ also included is a 4 Herbie the Luv Bug movie package. This was not a frame off restoration as it was not necessary. I recently drove the bus on a trip up in western Montana and back to Las Vegas and she ran purrrfect! As you can imagine she gets a lot of attention. *The two front door seals were removed as I ordered brand new ones, but when I went to install those a couple days ago I realized I ordered the incorrect ones. So the winning bidder will get the new front door seals (correct ones). Could also use two new front window scrapers. Ive had a few changes in my world and so its time to pass her on to a new soon to be proud owner ;-) I will do my best to respond quickly to questions so feel free to ask. Or I will work with you and keep the bus in my locked climate controlled garage until you can arrange shipping.
