Looking to sell my 2005 Subaru WRX. *ENGINE BROKEN*About 3 months ago I was on the highway driving through a rain storm and the car sucked a small amount of water into the engine which resulted in a spun bearing. The engine will start but it makes a loud knocking sound. This vehicle was modified back in 2008 and has always been reliable in that configuration. My modifications include upgrading the stock 5 speed to the 6 speed from a WRX STI; other modifications include: SS up pipe, SS down pipe, SS cat back, upgraded top mount intercooler, STI seats and grill, cold air intake, and a mild tune. I also had the clutch, throw-out bearing, and pressure plate replaced by Wager Subaru in Fairborn this year prior to the spun bearing. This car has no accident history but it is a flood damage title; the reason for that is back in 2007 the car was in a flooded area a small amount of water got into the interior of the car. Seats and carpet were removed to inspect the the belly pan and there were no signs of rust; carpets were replaced and and the car was good as new. Let me know if you have any questions! :)
