Highest bidder wins, NO Reserve!!! I have a 1982 Audi 4000 Diesel, with low original miles, I bought this car from a local auction, It is most likely from an estate Sale. I put a used battery in it and a relay and it fired right up. Motor sounds great with plenty of pep. . I drove it around the block shifts through all gears smooth. I believe the miles are original. I have heard these get up to 40 mpg. The tires have plenty of tread but look like they might be older so the winning bidder should be aware, they are nice Michelin tires so they would most likely be fine just trying to disclose all I can. Last bidder fell through, he came to pic up the car and the oil light came on. I have been able to hook up a manual oil pressure gauge and it has great pressure ( see picture). the oil pressure sensor needs to be replaced, so that it will read in side the car. It is safe to drive now however with the manual gauge in place. The winning bidder then pushed on the bumper and the car settles down in less than two bounces ( shocks are great ) and he says the struts are bad and in the end try's to talk me down to a couple hundred dollars. ( Please don't bid unless you are willing to pay the price you bid!!!!) I am only selling this car because I don't have room or time to work on it. So please don't wast more of my time or yours. I have taken a lot of close up pictures so you know what you are getting. the car has some small surface rust on the lower doors and in front of the rear tires. Luckily, it is just surface rust, no rust through. I have pushed on the rusted areas and they are not soft and do not push through, a good sanding and a little paint you are good to go for a another 20 years. The car has been undercoated and that has help to preserve it. the wiring needs some attention, the gauges are hit and miss and flicker a bit. I have tested the temp after a long drive and it does not get hot and the oil pressure is good so a little tinkering and you will be good to go. The car has a repair manual in the trunk that can come in handy and is nice to have. The mechanic I have had working on the car says he had one along time ago and it had over 300 thousand when he sold it still running great. He estimates the car is worth at least 2500. Clean Utah title in hand. I can pick you up from the air port if you want to rick it and drive it home, the car is located 10 miles from the salt lake air port. I am also willing to help with loading as much as possible. It has a clean and clear Utah title.
