1980 L-82 corvette with Gymkana suspension. I am the second owner of the car, my grandfather was the original owner. The car was manufactured in March of 1979 and was used as a test vehicle by General Motors to test fuel injected prototype engines and different suspension components until October of 1980. My grandfather worked for GM and acquired the car in November of 1980. The car has the original T-350C transmission with the lock up converter, however the engine is not original, but is a 1980 corvette 350 engine with 4 bolt mains with 1967 fuelie heads. Engine and transmission were rebuilt in 2009 and I have only put 2000 miles on the car since then. The car has A/C , power door locks and windows, cruise control. Car was repainted the original black in 2010 and the trailing arms were rebuilt in February of 2015 along with replacement of front suspension components and the installation of Bilstien shocks. Car rides, drives and stops smoothly and is well maintained.
