Up for your consideration is a perfectly patina barn find 1959 chevy 3100 apache truck with the ever sought after fleetside bed. It has spent most of its life right here in DuQuoin . I think I'm the third owner. I have a clear Illinois title in my name that matches the VIN on the truck. This is an all original truck with an upgrade 283 V8 installed with 3 speed on the column. It was a 6 cylinder 235cu engine that is original to the truck. I also installed new brake lines to the front with rebuilt master cyl and front brakes so the back needs done. Gave it a tune up and rebuilt the carburetor . It runs and stops and has all the original wiring in place but not hooked up. Some of the gauges work such as the oil, gas, and amp gauge. The clutch is good and shifts smoothly into all gears. The fleetside in this series trucks were only made for 1 and 1/2 years and the short bed fleetside is rare. The wheels and tires are custom GM aluminum wheels with decent 18in tires all around. This will make someone a great driver will a little work.
