This has been a great dependable one owner car. It has been flawless in its service to me and has done nearly everything I could ask of an automobile. I have too many vehicles and need to part with this one. This Jetta has low mileage and was used for trips of 100 miles or more and not used for short driving. It has been maintained and serviced by the original dealer I purchased it from at required mileage intervals as per VW Maintenance Schedules. There are no recalls on this vehicle and it was assembled in WOLFSBURG, GERMANY - one of last to come from there. It is a sound car and very responsive in steering and acceleration with the turbo engine. There are no known issues with this vehicle and it has averaged a constant 32mpg city and 43 mpg highway since it was purchased just as the sticker said it would. The best mileage I documented was 47mpg and never did it do less than 32mpg. This fast piece of German engineering was always a pleasure to drive even in the cold of winter with its heated seats. I have kept this wagon protected in the shelter of a garage since it was purchased and I am a non smoker with no children. The windows were professionally tinted to reduce exposure by the sun and reduce unwanted heat in this vehicle. The leather seats are in great condition as is the roof interior and all door panels etc. The body is in great condition as is the paint and there is no rust or scrapes with only minor scuffs or signs of wear. The recent Michelin tires are in excellent shape and all equipment for heating or cooling still work like new. It is hard to find a used Volkswagen in this condition and it still performs like new. This vehicle has no storm damages, no flood damages, no hail damage, no accident repair damages and no known recalls. The windshield is near new condition and the rest of the glass remains undamaged as well. Included in my photos is the original invoice sticker the day I bought it in Colorado. It has been a pleasure to own this vehicle and I am sure I will miss it. Happy bidding on eBay. On Nov-12-15 at 20:24:09 PST, seller added the following information: 2005 was the last year these Jetta's were assembled in Germany. Now Volkswagen has out sourced the assembly of the Jettas to Mexico and locations other than Germany. The reason I purchased this Jetta was because of its fast responsive turbo engine and its fabulous steering and cornering ability. Mountain driving to Estes Park and places never slowed its performance. The cruise control never kicked off because of the engine being over worked by inclines in high altitudes ......... it is truly amazing what these cars can do. I was told by an insurance adjuster one time that he had witnessed more than one accident involving a Jetta and a large full size truck, like a Dodge Ram in a head on collision. The Jetta driver and passenger were not injured - they walked away from such a collision, where other American car collisions of that type resulted in deaths to both the driver and passenger. He told me that the Jetta wagon was built like a tank and the autobahns in Germany where these Jetta's were born have been known to allow car travel over 100 mph. At that speed when these Jetta's encounter roll over accidents do to collisions, their passengers survived such tragedies without sever injuries or hospitalization. He also told me that his insurance company rated the VW Jetta as one of the safest cars to drive and insure.
