Perhaps the nicest, best looking, best maintained E38 BMW available. Original Florida car with documented 19,741 miles. "Shorty" version ( not "iL") which makes this car looks so good and looks like the "James Bond" BMW in the late 90s movie. This car was bought new by a professional woman and owned for 14+ years in Florida an then sold to a wealthy car collector in Pennsylvania in 2012. I was searching for almost two years for the perfect E38 and bought this car in 2013 and brought it to Florida. Why did he sell it to me? "too many cars". Why am I selling it on Ebay right now? Same reason, "too many cars" and simply need to thin the herd. I'm not driving it enough. Within the last 4,000 miles, the previous car collector and myself have spent almost $13,000 (documented receipts) to make this car mechanically and visually perfect including the following; Remove and replace the radiator Replace power steering reservoir and hoses Replace ABS sensors front and rear New OEM spoke wheels and tires New rear ball joints and control arm bushings Replace valve cover gaskets Replace timing cover gaskets Replace rear suspension upper wishbones Replace front strut rod bushings Replace oil pan gasket Replace misc trim pieces ( exterior and interior) Replace transmission cooler oil line New brake pad sensors and brake pads ( front and rear) New starter Coolant flush Remove and install drive belt Multiple synthetic oil changes There have been almost $13,000 in servicing to this car (documented) within the last 3 years and 4,000 miles. I have receipts in a binder including window sticker and delivery certificate. This is a great car for a long term collector that wants the best E38 BMW knowing that all the service ( rubber bushings, belts, hoses, etc) has been completed.
