This beautiful 1953 MG/TD underwent a complete frame-off restoration in 2006 including brand new interior which is in gorgeous condition and a complete engine rebuild which reflects the 1,504 miles. Much originality was retained on this vehicle. The vehicle is currently owned by Ms. Betty Aberlin, accomplished actress and author better known for her role as "Lady Aberlin" on "Mister Roger's Neighborhood" from 1968-1999, also appearances in major motion pictures such as "Dogma" and "Red State". There is extensive invoicing reflecting the work performed on the car including the smallest of details. This roadster is ready to be taken out and enjoyed and boasts a unique history. The drivers side door needs a bit of adjusting to stay latched when closing and the vehicle tends to slip out of first gear which is characteristic of these MGs.
